Linen bedding is great!
I am not sure if this is a new trend or I am just new in the subject, but I noticed the rising presence of linen bedding on the market. Linen has been in use for centuries, but its plain, boring look was not considered as attractive in the past decades. The changing attitudes of people looking for alternatives to synthetic fibers, increasingly incorporate this material in the new healthy lifestyles. Curious and concerned, I decided to buy a set for myself and I must admit, it was a great decision!
Flax linen has many benefits. Its breathable structure is beneficial for people with sensitive skin and allergies. It is a natural antiseptic, kills bacteria and fungus, and reduces inflammation. Linen is naturally thermo-regulating, which means that it is insulating in the cold and cool when it is warm. It also has anti-static properties. Care for bedding is very easy. Linen sheets only get better with time when it comes to both look and feel. The material becomes softer and more comfortable the more it is washed and used.
Etsy.com features few artisans who offer a great variety of sizes, styles, and colors of linen bedding. You can also find it on Overstock and Wayfair web stores. I noticed few basic sets in Ikea’s inventory as well.
Those buying from Etsy need to be mindful of the country of origin as delivery may take about a month if the sets are coming from Europe. However, I must say, the linen from Belarus or Ukraine are well worth the money and waiting time.

I am glad to hear that! Yes, we love the linen bedding, keep using it (honestly, I just wash and put it back on, do not use anything else)! And as my husband was skeptical at first thinking it is going to be stiff, he is a great fan now as it is really soft!
